Sorry about the lack of entry yesterday. It certainly was busy. Let me give you the rundown.
Awakening, around 12:00. Leavning, around 1:10 for my excursion to the monistary. Time waiting for silly French girl in sub-zero temperatures, around 20 minutes. Time listening to an old Russian nun speak Old Church Slavonic, around WAY TOO LONG! (2 hours or so)
The monistary was pretty, and has some interesting history...from what I could understand of a derivitive of a language that I don't speak so fantastically anyway. But it was colder than butts outside. I'm glad I get to come home before it hits the minus teens in Centigrate.
Later last night I had dinner at a nice little resturant with some friends. I've found that Russian customer service rivals Sony Online Entertainment for the "I'd rather be served by a rabid monkey" award. But the food was good.
After dinner was a night a Cto Rooshov...a local club...mighty expensive by Russian standards. The feel was total "houseparty" though. The bar served drinks in plastic cups, bad lighting, decent DJing. All in all a good time had.
After slam dancing to Nirvana's Entertainers at 3:00am I was tired and went home. Which, after much sleep, is how you find me here at the internet cafe. I had something I wanted to write about today regarding Pushkin. Come back for that tomorrow, as well as my update on the "Games I really really want to play" world.
Mwah.
