I'm the boss and the TV star.

So, I was on TV today. It was crazy. It was a broadcast from the main street in town. The guy stopped me (after my fervrent prayers that he would not) and asked me some question very quickly. I said "I don't speak Russian, I'm an American." He said, "You're speaking Russian now." And then "Do you live in Voronezh?" I said, "Yes." He said, "How many years have you lived here." I said, "About two months." He said, "Oh! And what do you think of the current Mayor's policies" (Mayoral elections are approaching. I dodged, "I think he's doing a good job politically, I haven't been here long enough to know anything else." In some really terrible Russian I might add.

LaRae was jealous...she's in NYC and I'm the one on TV. Pretty nifty though.

Other good things from the day. Found some Christmas presents for some people. Finished my book and started the next. Got paid from Marina Maratovna (400r a lesson...not bad, fantastic by Russian standards). Didn't have to teach because no students showed cause there's some sort of public school holiday.

All in all, pretty rockin day. No class till 1:30 tomorrow, so I'm sleeping!

More tomorrow.
