The song is Soldier's Song from Caroline's Spine, fantastic band from Tulsa. 3-4 albums with likely their biggest claim to fame being Varsity Blues soundtrack. Look them up, they're great. Newest CD is "Overlooked." Came out 11/5/03.
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!
Day's been pretty easy. Managed to ignore the holliday up until dinner time, difficult to not really wish I was at home eating a buttload when I'm eating Kasha for dinner (this oatmeally stuff.) But, it's over, and I'm on my way to Swan lake in about 6 minutes.
I'm really thankful this season though. I mean, I'm thankful for this trip...and there are SO many people who made it possible for me to be here. The little things that I'm not thankful for about the trip, well, I can just be thankful that I'll be home in around 10 days.
Tomorrow evening I leave for Moscow, but there'll be an update before then. I'm still not even sure where we are staying there, either at the German embassy or at a Hostel. But It's only 2 nights, so I don't really care where we end up. And when I get back, it'll be less than a week till I'm home!!!
I'm out. Eat some extra for me. No, I don't care that you hurt. EAT MORE...it's only American.
