Excuse me, Jordan? Please stop NAILING our servers.

Yesterday was nuts!

I got back from class at 2. From 2-6:50 I didn't move from my chair, I read an entire book, minus about 30 pages, to prepare for my colloquium session. Luckily the book was full of tales of psychotherapy, and was interesting, but still...wow...I didn't rest until 10:00 last night, and not much then.

So I got my webcam set up. There was quite a problem with it though apparently. I let it run last night to check some things out before I gave the link here...this morning I recieved an e-mail from the director of Information Technology at Baylor, telling me that in short, I had launched a Direct Denial of Service Attack on Baylor through my webcam. Whoops. So it's down at the moment, but as soon as I figure it out it'll be back up. If anyone has experience with hosting them, I'd love an e-mail.

I ran into some people last night whom I have some interest in. I like them, they're fun to talk to and really fun to hang out with. But, they're significantly younger. When I was a freshmen I didn't see any differences between upper classmen and freshmen, but as an upperclassman I do see the differences. There's just a lot of drama that tends to occur, and I don't know if I want to get involved in that. I just wonder what kind of relationship I can forge with these people. I'd like to. I really would, but I'm afraid it might be superficial no matter how hard I push into it. Don't get me wrong, this group isn't superficial, it's very similar to the kind of group I was involved in freshman year. My question is, do I get involved in that. And my further question is, am I just brining this around to prepare for the possibility that I would not be welcomed if I tried?

So I still have a lot to talk about, I'll try to get some assistance from you though - The boys and I are looking to do something awesome this summer, that won't take an incredibly long time since most of us are working. Any suggestions? E-mail me.
