Anyway, the reason there was no entry yesterday and the reason that this one will have to be brief is because I purchased an internet card to use at home. Well, it's not working at home even though I was counting on it and now I'm really low on time here before they close.
So. I should let everyone know what's going on. Yesterday, I taught. Not much to say except that five year old students should not be in an advanced language private school no matter how much money their family has.
Today, I had a pretty good thing happen. I met the new American student here. She's pretty cool, and spent a year here before, so she knows what's up. Hopefully she'll be in the songs class tomorrow so I can chat with her a bit more. She's from Cali (Crawford, don't get too excited.) It was really liberating being able to talk normally, like with average speed and colloquialisms. It actually took me a few minutes to get used to it again.
Tomorrow, Russian songs! Hoorah! Then I have to go to the bank and withdraw more money to just give away. Well, to give to my family for room and board, but this is the last of it. They gave me back two twenties because they weren't pristine bills and the bank wouldn't take them. If they're good enough for Uncle Sam they oughta be good enough for you Putin!
